Need more of a challenge on Tubbs Hill? I tend to get in the habit of taking the one trail around the outside of Tubbs. Recently I decided to veer off that trail and it was an awesome steep hike. Park at the 11th street parking lot of Tubbs Hill, downtown CDA. Start up the trail, about 1/2 mile on the trail, when the trail turns right (south/east) look for the new trail to the right that head up the mountain away from the lake. Enjoy!!
