In a world full of pollution, stress and inflammation our bodies can all use a little help to combat these negative health factors. While there are some things we can do to help with these health factors on our own (eating right, exercise, meditation to name a few) sometimes these things are just not enough to get us feeling our best. That is where NAD+ IV therapy comes in.

NAD+ (also known as nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme in our body that our cells need for energy production. Our cells need this enzyme to function so low levels can lead to a variety of degenerative diseases. Furthermore, NAD+ has varied oral bioavailability (meaning that taking it orally results in inconsistent levels due to gut absorption). Certain conditions that tend to have lower NAD+ levels are inflammatory diseases, increased age, increased stress, chronic pain and environmental toxin exposure.

NAD+ is great way to help support health in people with chronic disease or as we get older but even without having these conditions NAD+ replacement has numerous health benefits:

  • Slows cognitive decline
  • Boosts metabolism
  • Decreases pain
  • Increases energy
  • Improves athletic performance

During your infusion you will get an IV placed and expect to be with us for 2-3 hours- so you can bring a book, laptop or tablet with a movie with you. Sometimes NAD+ can cause a little flushing, headache but we can adjust your infusion rate to be sure that you are feeling as best you can. We also include other great vitamins for overall health in the infusion, such as, magnesium, vitamin b12, B complex, vitamin C and calcium.

If NAD+ is something that sounds right for you, call us at the office to get an appointment set up so we can get you feeling better!
