Meet Cassy

Hi! I’m Cassy, and I’m excited to join the Active Family Healthcare team!
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas and spent 10 years working as a registered nurse before returning to Gonzaga University to earn my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During my years as a nurse, I realized I wanted to do even more to help my patients by providing comprehensive, long-term care. Becoming a nurse practitioner has allowed me to build lasting relationships with patients and partner with them in achieving their health goals.

I am board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and enjoy caring for patients of all ages. My special interests include preventive medicine, women’s health,
chronic disease management, weight management, and office procedures. I believe the best healthcare begins with listening, building trust, and working together to create a personalized
plan of care. My goal is for every patient to feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, camping, riding bikes, or cheering from the sidelines at baseball games. I also enjoy volunteering as a LEGO robotics coach for elementary students. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch their confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills grow throughout the season.
