Meet Danyel

Danyel is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Liberty University in 2010. In 2014 she received her Masters of Nursing Education from Liberty University and taught nursing students at a private university in Washington State. In 2018 she received her Master of Nursing degree from Gonzaga University and graduated with honors; Sigma Theta Tau. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Prior to coming to Active Family Healthcare she worked in an internal medicine clinic in Washington State. She has also worked in an integrative healthcare/ family practice model with the focus of whole body wellness.

Danyel enjoys helping people reach their optimum level of health, addressing the body, mind and spirit components of each patient. She takes interest in getting to the root cause of a patient’s
symptoms and is currently working on certification with IFM for functional medicine. In her spare time Danyel enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and walking their French Mastiffs.
