What is in IV Nutrition Therapy?

We use a standard protocol called a Myers’ infusion which has been around for over 40 years. It was developed to treat chronic fatigue, asthma and headaches/migraines (and still used to this day for these conditions plus many more). The standard ingredients in a Myers cocktail are magnesium, vitamin C, calcium, B vitamins, all important vitamins for optimal body functioning and energy. The Myers’ infusion has also been found to help boost the immune system- which can help with asthma, allergies and overall well being.

With advancing medical research we are able to customize this infusion to meet your health goals and needs. Here are some examples of how we can adjust IV nutrition for you:

• Have a migraine that just will not go away? We can adjust the ingredients in the Myers’ cocktail to treat that migraine while adding a pain reliever medication as well.
• Suffering from chronic fatigue, brain fog and poor exercise tolerance after COVID illness? We can add the ingredient NAD+ (nicotinamine adenin dinucleotide) to the infusion which newer research is showing becomes depleted with COVID infection, especially in athletes, people with diabetes or over the age of 65. NAD+ is also a great addition for athletic recovery, depression, auto-immune disease, chronic fatigue and brain fog not related to COVID.
• Iron deficient? We are able to offer iron infusions for iron deficiency too This works really well for people that have trouble absorbing iron through their GI system or who don’t tolerate oral iron.
