Meet Megan

Megan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is new to the Idaho area. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Cal State University Bakersfield and graduated with honors. In 2016 she received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in family medicine, once again graduating with honors. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to coming to Active Family Healthcare Megan worked at a rural health clinic providing primary care and encouraging health promotion to the community she lived in.

Megan is an avid believer in health and wellness. Being a previous basketball player and off road racer she believes and participates in an active lifestyle to this day. She believes in being an active member in her patient’s health to develop a health plan that is individualized and realistic for the patient. In her spare time Megan enjoys hiking, camping, hunting and spending time with her husband and daughter.
